Here in this dank and sludge filled world live Fungus The Bogeyman and his family - his  beloved wife Mildew , the most foul and malodourous Bogeywoman a Bogey could ever hope to meet, his rebellious, deodorant-using son Mould and his daughter Mucus, stinking, putrid and repulsive - a perfect Bogey girl.

Everyday Fungus the Bogeyman ventures up top on his Bogeybike, through the dripping tunnels of Bogeydom, to scare  “Drycleaners” (a Bogey’s name for humans).  But one day, Fungus’ work takes him to the home of the White family where he is seen by a Drycleaner. In the ensuing events, the very continued existence of Bogeydom comes under threat!
