Beauty industry stars to develop Scarlett & Crimson cosmetics range
Scarlett & Crimson, the exciting and original new property for tween and young teen girls, is getting together with two of the biggest stars in the beauty industry firmament. Coolabi, the company that co-owns and licenses Scarlett & Crimson, has announced an association with the phenomenally successful beauty industry celebrities Ruby Hammer and Millie Kendall to develop a Scarlett & Crimson range of gift cosmetics and toiletries for the market.
It’s a stunning coup for the new property. Attracting two of the biggest names in the UK beauty industry underlines the quality and originality both of the Scarlett & Crimson design and of the values underpinning the brand. The association is indicative of Coolabi’s unique, innovative approach to its properties.
Ruby & Millie is of course an iconic brand in its own right – it was the first major UK cosmetics brand to launch in 30 years and is a massive retail success. In this case, however, the beauty industry professionals will be developing a special line for Scarlett & Crimson, branded with the names of the sassy, smart girls who share the closest friendship and all their secrets. The range will be designed to reflect the key characteristics of the Scarlett & Crimson brand: non-conformist, alternative and individual with a strong sense of style.
The new range of gift cosmetics and toiletries is in development targeted at leading UK High Street retailers with the intention of going in-store in the fourth quarter 2009, hard on the heels of the first titles in the Scarlett & Crimson publishing programme.
