Clothing and Perfume licences for Scarlett and Crimson brand

Coolabi PLC (AIM: COO), the media company focused on the ownership and creative management of high quality intellectual property assets,  announces new licences for the Scarlett & Crimson brand with Poetic Gem for clothing and Myridium for perfume.  These significant deals underpin the continuing growth of Scarlett & Crimson as a teen and tween brand and will complement the successful cosmetics and accessories range created for Boots and Superdrug by beauty industry luminaries Ruby Hammer and Millie Kendall.

Apparel licensee Poetic Gem has been awarded a licence to create a range of Scarlett & Crimson leisurewear, whilst perfume manufacturer Myridium will be producing Scarlett & Crimson perfume and coffret sets.   Both product ranges are set to launch this autumn in specialist and high street stores and on-line retailers. Scarlett and Crimson, best friends who create their own fashion, music and style, is jointly owned by Coolabi and creator, Ged Backland.  Scarlett & Crimson’s appeal is underpinned by a 16-book publishing programme with Simon and Schuster, plus a website and a sizeable following on Facebook, MySpace and Twitter.

Jeremy Banks, CEO of Coolabi, commented: “We are very pleased to be working with both Poetic Gem and Myridium. With the continuing success of the Scarlett & Crimson cosmetics range, the expansion of the brand into apparel and perfume represents the next important step in its development.”
