Robert Cary-Williams has become one of the first fashion designers and artists to start work on a collection inspired by a striking and original new brand for the teenage girls’ market.  Scarlett & Crimson are two sassy, smart and non-conforming girls who share a close friendship and each others’ secrets, and the former enfant terrible of British fashion has been inspired by the new brand to develop four limited edition women’s vests for 2009.

His planned designs are described as ‘striking yet subtle’. They will include hidden motifs linked to a series of Scarlett & Crimson storybooks which will launch in summer 2009.

Famous for dressing Kate Moss, Lily Cole and the most forward-thinking movers of the fashion world, Robert designs for fashion label ‘Handwritten’ and is also completing a Masters degree in Fine Art at St Martin’s College.

Robert joins beauty industry icons Ruby Hammer and Millie Kendall as the latest major fashion name to work with Scarlett & Crimson. The founders of the ‘Ruby and Millie’ cosmetics brand are working on a collection inspired by the two edgy heroines.
