Position: Non-executive Director and member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees

Nicholas James was Chief Executive of Chorion plc from April 2003 until July 2007. Prior to that he had been the Managing Director of the Intellectual Property Division, and a main board Director of the UK listed group from which Chorion demerged. Between 1984 and 2000 he was based in Hong Kong where he held a number of posts. These included Assistant General Manager of Television Broadcast Ltd, then Asia’s largest television broadcast and production company, Executive Vice President at STAR TV/Media Assets Ltd and one of the senior team that founded STAR TV and successfully sold it to News Corporation and Co-Founder and Managing Director of Media Asia Group, a film production company and the biggest distributor of Chinese language feature films. Nicholas now divides his time between the UK and Hong Kong and consults for companies in both of these territories and in China.
