Michael Dee
Position: Director of Content
Michael has over eighteen years experience in developing content, brands and properties across a wide ranging portfolio.
In his last role as Strategic Director- Chorion, Michael was responsible for the roll-out, development and forward planning of properties such as Mr Men and the Blyton catalogue, notably Noddy and the Famous Five Series.
Previous roles include head of pre-school IP and Children’s Brands at BBC Worldwide, including the successful launch of Tweenies and Fimbles, and continued marketing of Teletubbies, amongst a host of top BBC shows. In addition to Chorion he has extensive experience in the independent production sector at Tell-Tale Productions (now Wish Films) as their Director of Intellectual Property.
At Disney, Michael was previously Head of UK Marketing for Disneyland Paris, and a executive at Buena Vista Productions, responsible for Disney brand TV specials throughout Europe.
