Position: Head of Development & Production

Zoë Scurfield brings a unique mix of broadcasting business acumen and creative expertise to her role at Coolabi. 

Most recently, Zoë operated as an independent consultant, advising on development, production, and distribution strategies for a number of children’s programme producers. 

In her 13 years at Disney, Zoë was latterly Executive Director, Programming for Disney Channels UK, Scandinavia and Emerging Markets.  In that role, she was responsible for all aspects of programme planning, scheduling, acquisitions, and commissioning across Disney’s multiple linear and non-linear platforms.  Zoë was an integral part of the team that launched the successful franchises High School Musical and Hannah Montana in Europe, helping to align multiple business units around these properties.

Zoë joined Disney in 1995 in a research role, having previously held similar positions at TSMS (Paradigm) and Granada.
